Community Environmental Listening is a 501(c)(3) organization which helps individuals and communities re-engage with their environment through the simple act of environmental listening - directing your attention to the sounds of the ecosystem around you.
We offer workshops for all ages and a fieldguide to assist communities form their own local chapters of the community environmental listening project.
In the workshops we teach Passive, Directed and Active listening which from a key toolkit to direct your listening practice.
It costs nothing to the community and makes a dramatic , positive difference to how people perceive the world around them.
These changes lead to a growing sense of stewardship and agency in caring for our local environments.
Your donation is tax deductible and will help us fund our efforts to support our ambition goal of a billion people listening to their environments by 2050.
